Buffalo Rock Company purchased The Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Pensacola, including the Fort Walton, Florida distribution center in November, 1984 from the Hooper-Bass family.

With the purchase of LiVendco Vending Company in September, 1992, Buffalo Rock became the major Full Line Vending company in northwest Florida.

Today, Buffalo Rock Pensacola Division distributes soft drinks throughout the  Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties, servicing a population base of 600,000.

The Pensacola team of 187 dedicated Employee-Partners work to keep Buffalo Rock the premier beverage and snack distributor.

2007 Children’s Champion Award - On March 30, 2007, the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce honored the Pensacola Division with this annual award at a luncheon at Skopelo’s sponsored by WalMart. The mission of the Chamber is to honor individuals and organizations who have made a difference in the lives of our children. The YMCA of Northwest Florida nominated Buffalo Rock – Pensacola due to a long-term partnership with the YMCA and the volunteer efforts of our employee-partners.

2006 Florida Sterling Achievement Award - On June 2, 2006, the Florida divisions of Buffalo Rock Company were presented the Florida Sterling Quality Achievement award for our comprehensive disaster-preparedness plan. The Award is given to various organizations for being role models in establishing approaches, methods, strategies or processes from which other organizations can learn.
