Buffalo
Rock Company purchased Crawford Beverages on December 7, 1981
from Crawford Lindsay. This acquisition marked the fourth
Pepsi franchise purchased by Buffalo Rock.
The Mobile
Division services Mobile, Baldwin, Clarke and Washington
Counties with a combined population exceeding 500,000.
1984 brought
the addition of Maxwell House Coffee and other General Food
beverages, now Kraft Foods. This was the beginning of our
full beverage concept.
In March of 1985, the business was expanded to include snack
and soft drink vending. Two years later the Commissary was
added to produce a variety of sandwiches, salads and desserts
for our food merchandisers. The opening of the Commissary
brought opportunities for catering and securing contract food
lines for local industry. The purchase of Central Vending
in August, 1993 doubled the size of the already formidable
Full Line Vending department.
The Mobile
team of over 125 dedicated employee-partners, provide superior
products and services to Buffalo Rock customers.
Today,
Buffalo Rock is recognized as a Leader in the beverage industry
totally committed to their customers and as a pillar of the
community.
Our full
beverage concept has expanded to include Canada Dry, Tropicana
Juices, Sunny Delight, Hawaiian Punch, Buffalo Rock Ginger
Ale, Dr. Wham and Grapico.
Our Full
Line Vending has grown to include all beverages in cans and
20 oz plastic bottles. Vending equipment now includes hot
cup merchandisers that make fresh brewed Maxwell House coffee,
International Coffees, Cappuccino and hot chocolate.
The employee-partners of the Mobile Division are committed
to our Mission.
