401(k) Retirement Plan

A 401(k) is one of the easiest and best ways to save for retirement. Contributing money to a 401(k) gives you an immediate tax deduction and tax-deferred growth on your savings. Currently, Buffalo Rock Company matches 20% of the first 6% you contribute. The money that you contribute to your 401(k) is 100% yours to invest and you take it with you if you ever leave Buffalo Rock.

Deferral % and Allocation Information:
Default Deferral %:

You will make a 3% weekly contribution to your 401(k) account. You can change your deferral % quarterly – January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1 (change contribution percentage to 0% only at Jan 1). Minimum deferral % = 0%; Maximum deferral % = 20% (subject to IRS limitations based on salary)

Default Investment Allocation:

Your deferrals will be invested 100% in the Balanced Fund. Your investment allocation can be changed as often as you like and into any of the 10 investment options offered within our plan. All participants are encouraged to complete a Participant Investment Planner (PIP) to realign your account according to your personal preferences.
